Imagine. John Lennon got it right. Remember the movie Instinct where Anthropologist Ethan Powell (Anthony Hopkins) has been imprisoned after living for years with gorillas and then killing two poachers that attacked his 'family'. Theo Caulder (Cuba Gooding Jr.) plays a broight young psychiatrist who is trying to find out why Ethan killed the poachers. There is a scene where Ethan overpowers and forces Theo to answer the question, "What have I taken from you?" Theo correctly answers, "My Illusions" Life has similary stripped me of my own illusions. Jesus is not going to come and save us. We're on our own. There's no old white man in the sky wathcing our every move and preparing our way before us. Is the universe conscious? Sure it is. Is it a respector of persons? Not at all.
