They have a show of sorts of Edgar Degas at the Portland Museum of Art just now (April 2012). We saw the original painting (oil pastel on paper) face to face at the Musee d'Orsay in Paris, France last summer. L'etoile [La danseuse sur la scene] (The Star [Dancer on Stage]) Degas is a master of light and space. I love this cropping, and the light.
